Carved Graphite Pencils Now at Scottsdale Pen

Scottsdale Pen is pleased to announce the arrival of carved graphite pencils from the Batle Studio in San Francisco. These unique miniature sculptures are created from a secret process invented by artist Agelio Batle using a mixture of carbon and polymers resulting in smudge free graphite writing instruments. Although breakable, these carvings can last for up to nine years even when used daily and can write from any surface.

Montegrappa Parola Now at Scottsdale Pen

Scottsdale Pen is pleased to announce the arrival of the Montegrappa Parola in fountain pen, rollerball, and ballpoint models. The Parola is an "entry level" model of the famous NeroUno, the main difference being a rounded body on the Parola rather than the faceted body of the more senior members of the family.

The Montegrappa Parola is a full-sized series of pens with notable heft. We love Montegrappa's attention to fine detail from the gem like cap topper to the "1912" logo on the end cap of the barrel on fountain pens and rollerballs.
